Kiama Alpine Club’s lodge’s accomodation rates are per person per night and vary based on membership status, season and who you are visiting with.

Booking Conditions

General

  • Accomodation tariffs are per person per night including GST.
  • Full payment of accommodation is required for a booking to be confirmed and a confirmed booking is required prior to arriving at the lodge.
  • All dates are inclusive and room/bed allocations are confirmed on arrival and must be adhered to.
  • Winter check-in 3pm & check-out 10am including kitchen and car park. All other times check-in/check-out 3pm.
  • For those skiing or boarding on the last day, you may use the bathroom in the laundry but you must be completely vacated by 3pm to allow other guests to arrive. Plans to do this must be communicated to the Lodge Manager prior to doing so.
  • A late penalty of $50 per person may apply if not fully vacated by 3pm.
  • Bookings will not be taken for a Member listed as non-financial. Booking rights will be restored once a Member becomes financial again.

Booking Duration

  • MINIMUM BOOKING PERIODS APPLY July to August for Members & Non-members. Priority is given in the following order: Bookings for Sunday to Saturday inclusive (check-out Sunday), then bookings for Sunday to Thursday inclusive (check-out Friday), then bookings for Friday to Saturday inclusive (check-out Sunday). Following Members only preferential booking periods (see above) bookings will be allocated based on availability.
  • MAXIMUM BOOKING PERIODS APPLY During NSW school holidays, only 1 week can be booked prior to the 1 March. A second week can be booked if beds are available after the Members Preferential allocations.
  • Any extension of time at the Lodge must be with the prior consent of the Lodge Manager or Booking Director. Payment for the extension is required upon consent being given.

Member Preferential Booking Periods

  • Members Preferential Winter Booking closes at the end of February.
    All Member bookings received prior to 1 March will be treated as having arrived at the Members Preferential Winter Booking closure time.
  • Extended Members Priority Winter Booking covers NSW School holidays (Sunday 5 July – Saturday 18 July 2026 inclusive) and the first three full weeks in August (Sunday 2 – Saturday 22 August 2026 inclusive) until 1 April.
  • Bookings received prior to 1 March for any “overbooked” weeks will be balloted. When ballots are necessary, Members will be restricted to one week of accommodation for the peak periods including any balloted weeks.
  • Winter booking requests will not be accepted between 1 March and 14 March inclusive to allow time for processing all Members Preferential Winter Booking requests.
  • Bookings will be opened to Members from 15 March where beds are available subject to booking conditions and the club’s by-laws.
  • Bookings will be opened to Members and their accompanying non-members from 16 March, for dates that Member Preferential and/or Member Priority booking period(s) no longer apply and where beds are available subject to booking conditions and the club’s by-laws.
  • Bookings will be opened to unaccompanied non-members from 1 May where beds are available subject to booking conditions and the club’s by-laws except for any ‘Extended Members Priority Winter Booking’ period(s).
  • No unaccompanied non-member bookings will be confirmed for the ‘Extended Members Priority Winter Booking’ period(s) until 1st day of the month prior. Therefore 1 June for July booking dates and 1 July for August booking dates.

Payment and Cancellation Conditions

  • Full payment is due upon invoice. Failure to make payment within 7 days may result in re-allocation of the booking and be subject to cancellation fees.
  • Payments by credit card will incur a non-refundable 1.4% surcharge.
  • Credit card surcharges are non-refundable and not part of the amount refund’s calculation.
  • All cancellations will incur a minimum of $55 admin/cancelation fee.
  • Cancellations more than 60 days prior to stay – full refund less $55 admin fee.
  • Cancellations more than 45 days prior to stay 25% of invoice not refunded.
  • Cancellations more than 30 days prior to stay 50% of invoice not refunded.
  • Cancellations less than 30 days prior to stay – no refund.
  • A reduction in nights booked or change of booked dates is treated as a partial cancelation.

Exclusive Use 

Exclusive use of the Lodge is available during ‘Summer Special’ season periods with a group booking of 24 beds or more.


Children 

Children under 3 years old stay free when using same room as family. Age of child determined at time of stay.

Bookings including children under 3 years of age are NOT accepted during our Winter High Season, with the exception of “All Ages Periods” where children under 3 are welcome (applies to both members & non-members).

  • 2nd Week NSW school holidays (Sunday 12 July – Saturday 18 July 2026 inclusive)
  • Week following NSW school holidays (Sunday 19 July – Saturday 25 July 2026 inclusive)
  • During the Kiama Club Weekend and the week following
